Terms & Conditions

By accessing or using JantaraX Apps at app.jantarax.com (the “Site”, “Marketplace”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

The Site is operated by JantaraX Global IT Private Limited, a private limited company registered in India (GSTIN: 09AAHCJ2698H1Z2) (“JantaraX”, “we”, “us”, “our”). Other JantaraX services (client projects, training/internship programmes, and other websites) are governed by their own terms and agreements; these Terms cover app.jantarax.com only.

• “Content” — all text, artwork, icons, stories, software, demos and other material on the Site.
• “Listing” / “Product” — an app, game, novel or other item presented in the catalogue.
• “You” / “User” — any person who accesses or uses the Site.
• “Available / Live”, “In Development”, “Coming Soon” — the availability labels shown on each Listing, defined in Section 4.

The Site is intended for general audiences. If you are under 18 (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), you should use the Site with the involvement or consent of a parent or legal guardian, who is responsible for your use. By using the Site you confirm that your use complies with the laws applicable to you.

JantaraX Apps is a discovery catalogue for JantaraX’s own apps, games and stories. Listings describe products at various stages, and every Listing is labelled honestly:

• Available / Live — the experience works as described from its Listing page (for example, reading a published novel opening or playing a web demo).
• In Development — the product is being built; no download, purchase or access is offered yet.
• Coming Soon — the product is planned; no download, purchase or access is offered yet.

Nothing on a “Coming Soon” or “In Development” Listing is an offer to sell, a release-date commitment, or a licence. Features, platforms, versions and timelines shown are indicative and may change or be withdrawn. We work to keep availability accurate and will update labels at launch. Where a Listing links to an external store or website in future, that destination’s own terms will apply to any transaction there.

The Site currently requires no account or registration to browse the catalogue, play available demos or read published content. If accounts are introduced later, additional terms will be published, and you will be responsible for the accuracy of your details and for keeping your credentials secure.

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Attempt unauthorised access to the Site, its servers or related systems, or probe/scan for vulnerabilities except through legitimate, good-faith security research reported to us responsibly.
• Introduce malware, or disrupt, overload or interfere with the Site or other users’ enjoyment of it.
• Scrape, harvest or bulk-download Content, Listings or story text by automated means, except for standard search-engine indexing.
• Misrepresent availability, impersonate JantaraX or any person, or use the Site to infringe anyone’s rights.
• Use the Site in violation of any applicable law or regulation.

Unless stated otherwise, the Site and all Content — including the JantaraX name and logo, product names, icons, gradient artwork, interface design, software and the full text of novels and stories — are owned by or licensed to JantaraX Global IT Private Limited and are protected under Indian and international intellectual-property laws.

You receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Site and, where a Listing is Available, to use that experience (such as reading a published opening or playing a demo) for your personal, non-commercial enjoyment. You must not copy, reproduce, redistribute, adapt, sell, reverse-engineer (except where the law expressly permits) or create derivative works from Content without our prior written permission. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

• Novel openings published on the Site are provided free for personal reading in the browser. They remain our copyright; please do not republish or distribute the text.
• Playable demos (such as Word Forge) are provided for entertainment as-is. Demo progress and results are processed in your browser and are not saved by us.
• Publication of an opening chapter or demo does not by itself commit us to a full release date; the Listing page will announce availability honestly when it changes.

The Site does not currently host public user content (reviews, comments or uploads), and we do not display user reviews or ratings. If you contact us by email, you retain ownership of what you send; you grant us a limited permission to use it to respond to and handle your enquiry. Please do not send confidential or sensitive material unless we request it through an appropriate channel.

app.jantarax.com currently offers no paid products, subscriptions, in-app purchases or checkout, and collects no payment details. Accordingly, no refund policy applies to transactions on this Site because no transactions occur here.

If paid offerings are introduced in future (for example, full novel editions or premium apps), the price, taxes, payment terms and refund/cancellation policy will be clearly presented before purchase and will form part of the applicable terms at that time. Purchases made for other JantaraX services are governed by the agreements for those services, not by these Terms.

The Site links to other JantaraX properties and may link to third-party websites or stores. We do not control those destinations and are not responsible for their content, availability, terms or privacy practices. Following an external link, and any transaction on a third-party store, is governed by that third party’s terms.

• The Site and Content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law — including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted availability.
• Catalogue descriptions, artwork, platform indications and release notes are indicative. We may change, suspend or discontinue any Listing, feature or part of the Site at any time without notice.
• We do not fabricate ratings, reviews, download counts or rankings; any label on a Listing (Featured, New, Trending) reflects our editorial curation, not third-party statistics.
• Nothing on the Site is professional, financial, medical or legal advice.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, JantaraX Global IT Private Limited and its directors, officers, employees and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill or business, arising from or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the Site. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific service giving rise to the claim (which, for this free Site, is nil) — without limiting your statutory rights as a consumer, which these Terms do not exclude.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless JantaraX Global IT Private Limited and its officers, employees and affiliates from claims, damages, losses and reasonable expenses arising from your misuse of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party right.

We may suspend or restrict access to the Site (or any part of it) at any time, including for maintenance, security or legal reasons, or if we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, indemnity and governing law — will survive.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights in your jurisdiction, disputes arising from or relating to the Site shall be resolved amicably in the first instance (contact us at support@jantarax.com), and otherwise by the competent courts in India having jurisdiction over JantaraX Global IT Private Limited. If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The revised Terms will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date; material changes will be highlighted on the Site where appropriate. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not accept the changes, please stop using the Site.

• Entire agreement: these Terms together with the Privacy Policy govern your use of app.jantarax.com and supersede prior understandings about the Site.
• No waiver: our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
• Assignment: we may assign these Terms in connection with a business transfer; you may not assign your rights without our consent.
• Language & notices: notices to us should be sent to support@jantarax.com; we may give notices by posting on the Site.
